INTRA-AFRICA ACADEMIC MOBILITY SCHEME OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

My name is Stanley Uche, a recipient of EU-Africom scholarship. On the 11th of November 2018, I was one of the candidates selected by the European Union to participate in the Africom scholarship to study Computer Science at the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon.

The scholarship was a life-changing opportunity, apart from studying computer science, I got to learn French, meet different people from different parts of the world, and travelled around Cameroon to have the feel of different ways of life; Cameroon and the scholarship were really fun and in the next posts, I will go into details about what I had to gain by participating in Africom.

My reasons for starting this blog is to create awareness and sensitisation about the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme of the EuropeanUnion, the benefits and procedures for looking-up, applying and successfully acquiring a scholarship from the European Union as an African as well as other opportunities.
